For a minute, maybe two, it was pure chaos. Lucrezia shrieked when he managed to pin her to the bed. She had been so close to getting away and out of his reach. If only she had been just a little faster, or a little stronger...
Her cries were cut off when he tightened the leash. Quickly, her hands reached for her throat, trying to loosen the leather. Lucrezia was barely getting any oxygen, and her face was turning pink.
Was this how she would tie? Violated, staring into the crazed eyes of a ruthless savage? That wasn't the last image she wanted in her mind. As she clawed at her throat for air, she closed her tearful eyes and summoned images of family. And with trembling lips she mouthed a prayer.
